Alexa Amore, born Fabiola Melgar García on December 29, 1978 in Lima, Peru, Peruvian-American actress and dancer who became known in the world of erotic films. He moved to the United States with his family when he was nine years old and was raised in Redondo Beach, California, where he studied at the Christian High School in Hermosa Beach and worked as a cheerleader. He started his career as a model in advertising at a local store, and then, on a proposal from an agent, he started working as a model and host at Playboy TV, where he was discovered on Night Calls. In 1999, he debut in the erotic film industry with Vivid Entertainment The Watcher 6, his first scene with Bobby Vitale and Erik Everhard. In 2001, he took a one-year break in the shows, but he continued to perform and returned in the summer of 2002. In March 2003, he entered into an exclusive contract with Jill Kelly Productions, then in June 2004 with Anabolic Video, where he worked as director, and later, in September 2005, he continued as the exclusive artist and spokesperson of Video Team, debut in the film All About Alexis. In September 2006, he did not renew his contract with Video Team, and in January 2008 he announced that after two years, when he worked with women, he would re-do boy-girl scenes. He was in many popular erotic films, such as Vivid Entertainment World's Luckiest Jock and 72 Cheerleader Orgy, and Armor Still Up In This XXX, for which he received an AVN award for the best girl scene in 2003. His other significant works include his film Sex Z Pictures Zrotique and Vivid Sentenced, for which he was also nominated for the AVN Prize. During his career he played several parody films such as Digital Sin Not Jennifer Lopez XXX: An American Idol and Diabolic Video Official Bounty Hunter 5. In 2004, Frecuencia Latina produced a documentary about it in the Reporte Semanal programme, and in 2006 in Puerto Rico it was featured in No te Duermas and El Poder in Spanish and on the cover of Lowrider magazine in September. In 2018, AVN's Hall of Fame was added to the Hall of Fame, recognising its work in industry for over a decade.
